How Aveo Handles Your Information
How we use personal information about the people we work with or would like to work with: airport staff, partners, event contacts and visitors to our websites.
Who We Are

What We Collect
- Business contact details: your name, job title, employer, work email, work phone and LinkedIn profile.
- Our correspondence with you: emails, messages, and notes of meetings and calls.
- Your use of the pages we send you: when you open an Aveo page made for your airport, which sections you open, which videos you watch and whether you ask for a demo, with the date and time and the approximate location and network your connection comes from. If you reached the page through a link we sent you, we connect this to your contact record.
We do not collect sensitive information, and we do not buy or sell personal information.
Where It Comes From
From you, when you write to us, meet us or fill in a form. From public sources: your organisation's website, press releases, conference programmes and your public LinkedIn profile. From business-contact data providers, currently Vibe Prospecting (Explorium). From event organisers' attendee lists, when you registered for an event we attend.
Why We Use It
To contact airports about airside driver training, to answer your questions, to arrange demos and proofs of concept, and to keep track of our conversations. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in offering our products to airports and their staff (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Where we have a contract with your organisation, we also use it to perform that contract.
Who We Share It With
Service providers that handle it for us, under contract: Wix (our website), HubSpot (customer records), Google (email and documents), Cloudflare (our product pages and their visit records), Vercel (our internal dashboard) and Anthropic (AI tools that help us research and draft messages).
We also use LinkedIn, to contact people, and Vibe Prospecting (Explorium), to find business contact details. They handle the information they hold under their own privacy policies.
Some of our service providers are outside the European Economic Area. Wix is based in Israel, which the EU recognises as protecting personal data adequately. HubSpot, Google, Cloudflare and Vercel are certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, and their contracts with us also include the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. Our contract with Anthropic includes the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
The videos on our website and on the pages we send you play from YouTube. When a video loads, YouTube (Google) receives your IP address and browser details and handles them under Google's privacy policy.
How Long We Keep It
We keep it while we are in contact and for up to 3 years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep your name and email on a do-not-contact list so that we can honour it.
Your Rights
You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict how we use it, or to move it to another provider. You can object at any time to our contacting you, and we will stop. Just reply to any of our emails or write to info@aveo.is.
You can also complain to the Icelandic Data Protection Authority, Persónuvernd (personuvernd.is), or to the data protection authority where you live or work (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).
